Brief of the Expo

        Established in 2010, China Potato Expo, held successfully for nine consecutive years, is the only international potato exhibition convened in China. With the features of high starting point, dedicated specialty, complete industrial chains and wide participation, the Expo has obtained extensive attention and high reputation in the industry. In addition to exhibition, forums and seminars of the hot topics of the industry are also important components of the Expo. By all these activities, the expo shows its important role in promoting the integration of industry and market, enhancing friendly communication of the potato industry both at home and abroad, and pushing the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.

Review of the 2018 exhibition

        2018 China Potato Expo was once again held in Inner Mongolia, the major potato producing area in Northern China. The exhibition covering 12,000 square meters attracted more than 200 exhibitors from 20 domestic provinces as well as 11 countries including the Netherlands, the United States, Belgium, Denmark and Germany.

    Five technical conferences were held concurrently with the show, namely “Potato Industry Development and Brand Improvement Forum”, “Sino-EU Potato Processing Technology Seminar”, “Industry Development Seminar on Potato Nutrition and Health”, “Training on Potato Green High Efficient Production Technology “and “Strategic Project Release on XISHA Bactericide Application”. On-site interviews and webcasts aroused the public attention on the development of potato delicacies, standardization and innovation of potato planting, public brands engineering and so on. Over 4,000 professional visitors joined in the expo and more than 30,000 people followed the webcast.
